2008 James Beard Award Nominees Announced

The nominees are in for the 2008 James Beard Foundation Awards. The annual event, culminating in a gastronomical-fantasy gala each Spring at NYC's Lincoln Center, shines "a spotlight on the best and brightest talent in the food and beverage industry." The awards aim to cover every aspect of the restaurant industry - chefs, restauranteurs, food journalists, architects - to name a few.

We were pleased as punch to see fellow food blogger, Heidi Swanson, of 101 Cookbooks, nominated in the Book Awards/Healthy Cooking category, for her cookbook Super Natural Cooking: Five Ways to Incorporate Whole & Natural Ingredients Into Your Cooking. Good Luck, Heidi!
