Bravo Announces "Top Chef Masters"

topchef.jpg

Can't get enough of Top Chef? Well neither can network Bravo, which has just announced a new spin-off of their ratings superstar.

"A spin-off of the Emmy-nominated hit series "Top Chef" and from producers Magical Elves, "Top Chef: Masters" unites some of the brightest stars in the world of food, award-winning, widely-renowned Chefs who will compete against each other in a series of weekly challenges."

No word yet on which "widely-renowned Chefs" will be going spatula to spatula in the new series, but it makes sense that the producers would cook up an idea that is similar to Food Network's Iron Chef America. Wonder if the Chefs tied to the Iron Chef franchise will have problems finagling their FN contracts if asked to participate on Top Chef Masters?
