Farm Animals Are the Winner in California - Yes on Prop 2!

In a proposition strongly backed by the Humane Society of the United States, "Prop 2" was voted into effect in California this past Tuesday, which will outlaw some of the worst aspects of factory farming, starting in 2015.

The statute "requires that calves raised for veal, egg-laying hens, and pregnant pigs be confined only in ways that allow these animals to lie down, stand up, fully extend their limbs and turn around freely."
