Get Into my Kitchen! The Beater Blade

Beater Blade, the "continuous bowl scraping attachment" works with Kitchen Aid, Cuisinart, Viking, and DeLonghi stand mixers, and is scheduled to hit store shelves this month. I, for one, couldn't be happier.

The Beater Blade promises to virtually eliminate hand-scraping and batter build-up on the blade. Sounds good to me! Needing to scrape down the mixing bowl with a spatula has always been the most annoying part of using my stand mixer, and seemed to me like a design flaw in my otherwise beloved Kitchen Aid stand mixer.

I plan to get my hands on one of these babies and report back to you with the results!
