I Pledge Allegiance to Yogo Monster

Move over Pinkberry...there's something yummier.

Not since an I Can't Believe its Yogurt! shop first opened in the strip mall a mile down the road from my grammar school have I been so psyched about frozen yogurt.

The trendy wave of new-fangled frozen yogurt has finally reached my Brooklyn neighborhood. Yogo Monster appears to be a single-unit operation, as I can't find a website for them, or mention of any other locations on the internet.

Flavors on offer are Original (a slightly sweet/tart vanilla) and an assortment of daily changing fruit flavors. Toppings are in abundance. Super fresh fruit like kiwi, blackberries, and mango, as well as dry toppings like coconut, granola, and "rice cakes", which actually taste like gummi swedish fish. Sizes are Small, "Cool", and Huge, with a Cool Original flavor w/ 3 toppings running about 6 bucks.

Service is friendly and efficient, but the warmer days have definitely seen some longer lines queuing up for a taste. But trust me...its worth the wait.
